Dr. Ali Al-Anzi, a researcher in international relations, said that Iran is the biggest loser of what is happening in the region.

Al-Anzi added, in an intervention on the program 'Here Riyadh' broadcast on Al-Akhbariya channel, that Iran is under a naval and economic blockade preventing it from exporting oil, and the only option left for it is to close the Strait of Hormuz, thinking that it can control the global economy.

He added that closing the strait would lead to mobilizing the world against Iran, and if the US military expands its targeting of infrastructure such as fuel stations and bridges, it will anger public opinion inside Iran, especially since Iran has begun to demand its citizens to rationalize energy consumption.
