The Arab world is now experiencing its worst state, wars devastating countries and people, sometimes among themselves and sometimes with others, with no understanding or coordination to contain their problems and overcome the challenges they face, which has led them to this state of regression, loss of direction, loss of security and stability, making them threatened with damage to their unity and exposed to endless losses.

* *

This unpleasant and disturbing aspect of their situation has made them vulnerable to foreign interference in their internal affairs, and a theater for internal conflicts and disputes, without appreciation or calculation of the troubles, losses, and threats that this gloomy atmosphere conceals, which will cost them a lot.

Follow what is happening in Sudan and Lebanon, the situation in Libya, Syria, Yemen, and other Arab countries to see the magnitude of the dangers looming over them now and in the future, and how these countries are squandering many of their gains due to differences, divergent viewpoints, the impact of foreign intervention, and personal greed for money, position, or influence that only serves those who lie in wait for evil against these countries.

Our Arab countries need unity of ranks, unity of word, agreement on a common word, renunciation of differences, and working to avoid further losses, so that they remain free, sovereign, independent, and able to protect their rights in an era of ambitions and conspiracies.

* *

We talk a lot through all means, media and politics, about our situation, and we cry over our state, and we look at what is worthless in improving the situation of our countries, as long as the effort is limited to talk, permissible and impermissible, while our countries and peoples suffer from their accumulating tragedies, revealing the responsibility of everyone for this deteriorating situation we are going through.

I do not generalize, nor do I describe all Arab countries with what I mentioned above, as there are the GCC countries whose leaders manage their countries' affairs well, and handle every calamity with wisdom, deliberation, and conduct that enhances their security, strengthens the bond among their citizens, and denies enemies the opportunity to harm them.

However, caution is necessary, and vigilance is required, for the enemy is never absent from sabotage nor from searching for windows to achieve his goals, which makes it necessary for everyone to arm themselves with unity, understanding, and coordination, and to link that with strengthening the armies militarily, to be a strong barrier against harming them, which frightens the enemy from any harassment or attempt to test our strength and capabilities.
