The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, sent a cable of condolences and sympathy to His Excellency President Mohammed Shahabuddin, President of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, over the victims of floods and landslides caused by rains that swept across different parts of his country.

The King said: "We have learned of the news of the floods and landslides caused by rains that swept across different parts of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, resulting in deaths. As we extend to Your Excellency, the families of the deceased, and the brotherly people of the People's Republic of Bangladesh our warmest condolences and sincerest sympathy, we ask the Almighty Allah to envelop the deceased with His vast mercy and forgiveness, and to grant their families patience and solace, and to protect you and the people of the People's Republic of Bangladesh from all harm and evil. He is All-Hearing, All-Responsive."

His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, also sent a cable of condolences and sympathy to His Excellency President Mohammed Shahabuddin, President of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, over the victims of floods and landslides caused by rains that swept across different parts of his country.

His Highness the Crown Prince said: "I received the news of the floods and landslides caused by rains that swept across different parts of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, resulting in deaths. I express to Your Excellency and to all the families of the deceased my deepest condolences and sincere sympathy, praying to Allah Almighty for mercy upon the deceased. He is All-Hearing, All-Responsive."
