Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Condoles Bangladeshi President over Flood and Landslide Victims
King Salman sent a condolence cable to President Mohammed Shahabuddin of Bangladesh over the deaths caused by floods and landslides triggered by heavy rains.
Jeddah, Safar 2, 1448 AH, corresponding to July 16, 2026 (SPA) – The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, sent a cable of condolences and sympathy to His Excellency President Mohammed Shahabuddin of the People's Republic of Bangladesh over the victims of floods and landslides caused by rains that swept various parts of his country. The King said: "We learned of the news of the floods and landslides caused by the rains that swept various parts of the People's Republic of Bangladesh and the resulting deaths.
