Egyptian president affirms rejection of any aggression against Arab states, calls for return to negotiating table

Cairo, July 23 (QNA) - Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi today reaffirmed his country's position rejecting any aggression against Arab states, calling on all concerned parties to cease the use of force, exercise restraint, de-escalate in the region, and return to the negotiating table, in order to uphold the value of peace and protect the rights of peoples.

In a speech marking the anniversary of the July 23, 1952 revolution, President Sisi called on the world's countries to make every effort to stop wars and conflicts, especially in the Middle East region, and to confront destructive tendencies aimed at perpetuating hatred, bloodshed, and destruction, stressing the need for serious and relentless efforts to achieve a just peace that guarantees stability and prosperity for all peoples.

During his speech, the Egyptian president affirmed that the world is vast enough for everyone, and that history has proven that violence only brings more violence, and its known outcome is ruin and destruction.
