Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan affirmed that the recent developments in the region have shown the speed at which tensions spread beyond the region and their impact on global security, energy markets, and economic growth. He stressed that there is no alternative to diplomacy, and that military force alone does not guarantee lasting stability.

The Foreign Minister said during the Gulf Research Meeting that the goal should not be limited to containing tensions, but rather to address their root causes, build trust, and establish a stable regional order based on respect for sovereignty, non-interference, good neighborliness, freedom of navigation, and commitment to international law.

He added that violations of the principles of respect for sovereignty and non-interference must be met with accountability, emphasizing that policies of aggression and hegemony only lead to insecurity and contradict the stability and prosperity of the region.
