The Israeli army killed an entire family of six in an airstrike on their home in central Gaza City early Tuesday, while Israeli vehicles advanced east of Deir al-Balah in the central Strip.

This comes as part of Israel's daily violations of the ceasefire agreement in effect in the Strip since October 10, 2025.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said in an initial statement that its crews recovered the bodies of five Palestinians, a mother and her four children, from an airstrike on an apartment in the al-Samer area of Gaza City.

A medical source at Al-Shifa Hospital told Anadolu that the bodies of Salsabil Mohammed al-Masri (34) and her children Naim Firas al-Masri (13), and his sisters Feryal (11), Salma (9), and Amira (6) arrived.

The source noted that "the bodies of the martyrs arrived at the hospital charred."

Later, the medical source told Anadolu that the death toll from the Israeli airstrike on an apartment in al-Samer rose to six after the father, Firas Ahmed al-Masri, was killed.

The source indicated that the family has thus been completely erased from the Palestinian civil registry.

For its part, the Gaza Civil Defense Directorate said its crews extinguished a large fire at the al-Masri family home caused by the Israeli airstrike.

In a related context, Israeli artillery shelled areas southeast of the Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City, amid heavy gunfire from military vehicles positioned in the vicinity.

In the central Strip, Israeli vehicles advanced into the Abu Ghraba area east of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza.

Local sources and eyewitnesses told Anadolu that several tanks accompanied by a military bulldozer advanced about 100 meters under heavy fire, carried out land leveling, and withdrew after several hours.

The sources said that the area had seen an expansion of Israeli army control days earlier, with concrete blocks symbolizing the so-called 'Yellow Line' moved westward.

The Yellow Line is a hypothetical boundary set by the ceasefire understandings reached in October 2025, marked by yellow concrete blocks, separating areas from which the Israeli army withdrew from those it still occupies in the Strip.

Since the agreement was signed, the Israeli army has expanded its control in Gaza, with the proportion of land it controls rising from 53% to 70%, according to Israeli officials.

Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement, from its inception until Monday, have resulted in the deaths of 1,158 Palestinians and injuries to 3,756 others, according to data from the Health Ministry in the Strip.

The agreement was reached after two years of a genocidal war launched by Israel on October 8, 2023, which left more than 73,000 dead and over 173,000 wounded, and massive destruction affecting 90% of civilian infrastructure.
