Power outage across Ahvaz, Iran
Iranian media announced a power outage across Ahvaz, and had earlier reported an explosion in Mahshahr, south of Ahvaz. Al Arabiya channel, via its X account, quoted Iranian media as saying that a US bombing targeted the fourth air base in Dezful, north of Ahvaz. It also reported explosions in Hormozgan province and Abadan, a new explosion in Bandar Abbas, and a violent explosion near the village of Bandaran in Sirik. It also noted several explosions in southeastern Sistan and Baluchestan, and a new explosion in Chabahar and Minab. Al Arabiya also quoted a US official as saying that the US military shot down an Iranian cruise missile and a drone.

New wave of strikes: The US military announced on Sunday evening it had begun a new wave of strikes against Iran, saying it aims to undermine Tehran's ability to attack commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz. US Central Command said in a statement that its forces began at 21:00 GMT to launch further strikes against Iran to continue undermining its ability to attack civilian sailors and commercial ships freely transiting the Strait of Hormuz. It added that Trump ordered these strikes to hold Iranian forces accountable.
