The Qatari Ministry of Transport announced the resumption of maritime navigation activities for all types of vessels and marine craft within the specified maritime zone of 7 nautical miles, east of Lusail, including its ports, marinas, and associated marine facilities up to Hamad Port, as well as the area extending west of Umm Haysh to Doha Salwa, effective from the date of issuance of the circular.

The ministry exempted from this decision vessels subject to the provisions of international maritime conventions, which continue their operations according to internationally applicable regulations and procedures.

The ministry called on all owners and users of marine craft to adhere to the approved maritime regulations and instructions, and to ensure the readiness of safety and security equipment before and during sailing, to guarantee the safety of maritime voyages.
