Russia Targets Military Facilities in Ukraine

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that its forces carried out group strikes with long-range precision weapons and drones targeting facilities of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex in the capital Kyiv.

The ministry said in a statement today that the strikes targeted sites designated for the production and storage of long- and medium-range drones, confirming that their objectives were achieved.

It added that the attacks also included infrastructure facilities in the ports of Odesa and Yuzhny in southern Ukraine, used for the delivery and storage of military cargo, as well as fuels and lubricants.

These strikes come as Russia has intensified its attacks in recent days on a number of Ukrainian facilities, including ports, in parallel with the ongoing military operations between the two sides, at a time when political efforts aimed at reaching a settlement to the conflict continue to face challenges.
