Two Killed and 23 Injured in Russian Strikes on Multiple Areas in Ukraine
Escalation of Russian attacks on Ukrainian / French areas and cities
Kyiv, July 21 (QNA) - Ukrainian authorities announced today the killing of 2 people and the injury of 23 others in a Russian strike on several areas in Ukraine.
According to the Ukrainian news agency Ukrinform, Russian forces carried out 40 attacks on the Dnipropetrovsk region using drones, resulting in the death of 2 people and the injury of 17 others, including children.
In Kharkiv, 5 people were injured as a result of a Russian attack, while another person was injured in a drone attack in the Chernihiv region.
In the same context, Ukrainian air defense forces announced the downing of 46 out of 58 Russian drones during the past night.
These strikes come as Russia has intensified its attacks in recent days on a number of Ukrainian facilities, including ports, amid the ongoing military conflict between the two sides and the lack of signs of a near political settlement.
