U.S. Command Carries Out New Strikes in Iran

The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced today the completion of a new wave of military strikes against targets in Iran, as part of its operations aimed at undermining Iran's ability to attack commercial shipping.

The command stated in a statement that the mission lasted five hours and included targeting military sites in Bushehr, Chabahar, Jask, Konarak, Abu Musa, and Bandar Abbas.

It added that U.S. forces used precision-guided munitions to target Iranian coastal defense systems, missile and drone sites, as well as naval capabilities.

The U.S. Central Command concluded its statement by affirming that its forces continue to maintain the highest levels of readiness and combat vigilance.
