نفت وزارة الخارجية اليمنية ادعاءات مليشيا الحوثي بوجود حصار على اليمن، وأكدت أن هذه الادعاءات تهدف فقط إلى التهرب من مسؤوليتها عن تردي الأوضاع المعيشية.

ورحبت الوزارة، اليوم (الثلاثاء)، بما ورد في بيان وزارة الخارجية السعودية، مثمنة ما تضمنه من تأكيدات تعكس مواقف المملكة الثابتة والداعمة لليمن وشعبه وحكومته الشرعية.

وثمنت الخارجية اليمنية دور المملكة في دعم مؤسسات الدولة والتخفيف من معاناة الشعب اليمني والجهود السياسية والاقتصادية والإنسانية التي تبذلها المملكة والرامية إلى تحقيق السلام الشامل والعادل، بما يعزز أمن اليمن واستقراره ووحدته وسلامة أراضيه.

وأشادت الوزارة بما تضمنه بيان الخارجية السعودية من إبراز للانتهاكات والممارسات التي ارتكبتها مليشيا الحوثي الإرهابية بحق الشعب اليمني ومقدراته الوطنية، والتي أسهمت في تفاقم المعاناة الإنسانية والاقتصادية وإطالة أمد الصراع.

وشددت على أن ادعاءات الحوثيين حول الحصار ليست سوى ذريعة للتنصل من مسؤولياتهم عن تدهور المعيشة وتعطيل مساعي السلام.

ودعت الخارجية اليمنية المجتمع الدولي إلى دعم الحكومة اليمنية في تنفيذ قرارات مجلس الأمن ذات الصلة، وفي مقدمتها القرار 2216، ومواجهة التهديدات التي تشكلها مليشيا الحوثي للأمن الإقليمي والدولي ولحرية الملاحة البحرية في البحر الأحمر وباب المندب. وأكدت تأييدها للإجراءات التي تتخذها السعودية لحماية سيادتها وأمنها وسلامة أراضيها وممراتها المائية.

من جانبها، أعربت قطر (الثلاثاء) عن إدانتها واستنكارها الشديدين لتصريحات مليشيا الحوثي بشأن اتهام السعودية بحصار الشعب اليمني وحظر الملاحة البحرية.

وطالبت الخارجية القطرية المجتمع الدولي بالقيام بمسؤولياته تجاه تنفيذ قرارات مجلس الأمن ذات الصلة، وفي مقدمتها القرار 2216 بشأن اليمن، والقرار 2722 بشأن حقوق وحرية الملاحة في البحر الأحمر، وأكدت أن حرية الملاحة في الممرات المائية الدولية تعد مبدأً جوهرياً من مبادئ القانون الدولي، واتفاقية الأمم المتحدة لقانون البحار لعام 1982.

وجددت الوزارة تضامن قطر الكامل مع المملكة العربية السعودية ودعمها لكل ما تتخذه من إجراءات للحفاظ على سيادتها وأمنها. وأكدت أن أمن المملكة العربية السعودية يعد جزءاً لا يتجزأ من أمن قطر وأمن دول مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية.

The Yemeni Ministry of Foreign Affairs has refuted the claims made by the Houthi militia regarding a blockade on Yemen, asserting that these are merely attempts to evade responsibility for the deterioration of living conditions.

The ministry welcomed today (Tuesday) the statement issued by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, appreciating the assurances it contained that reflect the Kingdom's steadfast positions in support of Yemen, its people, and its legitimate government.

The Yemeni Foreign Ministry commended the role of the Kingdom in supporting state institutions and alleviating the suffering of the Yemeni people, as well as the political, economic, and humanitarian efforts made by the Kingdom aimed at achieving comprehensive and just peace, which enhances Yemen's security, stability, unity, and territorial integrity.

The ministry praised the Saudi Foreign Ministry's statement for highlighting the violations and practices committed by the terrorist Houthi militia against the Yemeni people and their national resources, which have contributed to exacerbating humanitarian and economic suffering and prolonging the conflict.

It emphasized that the Houthi claims regarding a blockade on Yemen are nothing more than an attempt to evade responsibility for the deterioration of living conditions and to obstruct peace efforts.

The Yemeni Foreign Ministry called on the international community to support the Yemeni government in implementing the relevant Security Council resolutions, foremost among them Resolution 2216, and to confront the threats posed by the Houthi militia to regional and international security and to the freedom of maritime navigation in the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandab. It affirmed its support for the measures taken by Saudi Arabia to protect its sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity, as well as its waterways.

For its part, Qatar expressed on Tuesday its strong condemnation and denunciation of the Houthi militia's statements accusing Saudi Arabia of blockading the Yemeni people and banning maritime navigation.

The Qatari Foreign Ministry called on the international community to fulfill its responsibilities regarding the implementation of the relevant Security Council resolutions, particularly Resolution 2216 concerning Yemen and Resolution 2722 regarding the rights and freedom of navigation in the Red Sea. It affirmed that freedom of navigation in international waterways is a fundamental principle of international law and the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea of 1982.

The ministry reiterated Qatar's full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its support for all measures it takes to maintain its sovereignty and security. It affirmed that the security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is an integral part of the security of Qatar and the security of the Gulf Cooperation Council states.

وتأتي هذه التصريحات اليمنية في وقت تواصل فيه مليشيا الحوثي استهداف الملاحة البحرية في البحر الأحمر، مما يهدد الأمن الإقليمي والدولي. كما تعكس موقف الحكومة اليمنية الثابت في دعم جهود السلام بقيادة السعودية، وتأكيدها على ضرورة تنفيذ قرارات مجلس الأمن لإنهاء الصراع.
