45.2% of Internet Users in Saudi Arabia Adopt AI Tools

The adoption rate of artificial intelligence tools among internet users in Saudi Arabia reached 45.2% last year, according to the 'Internet Saudi Arabia 2025' report issued by the Communications, Space and Technology Commission, which also showed that the average individual mobile data consumption reached 53 GB per month, equivalent to three times the global average, amid continued growth in the use of digital services and applications in the Kingdom.
The report stated that the median mobile download speed reached 216 Mbps, ranking the Kingdom among the top five countries in the G20 in this indicator, reflecting the development of digital infrastructure and improved quality of communications and internet services.
It indicated that 61.3% of internet users spend seven hours or more daily online, reflecting the growing reliance on digital services in various aspects of life. It also presented usage patterns of digital applications and services, including social media, government, sports, and AI applications, with an analysis of usage pattern differences among various groups.
The report revealed an annual growth of 18% in the registration of Saudi domain names, an indicator of the expansion of local digital content and enhanced digital presence credibility. It also covered the fastest-growing applications, internet browsing patterns, leading search engines, and other indicators reflecting the development of the internet ecosystem and digital economy in the Kingdom.
