Riyadh, Safar 04, 1448 AH, corresponding to July 18, 2026 AD, SPA. Takamol Holding achieved a new international milestone by winning the Champion Award in the category "Ethical Dimensions of the Information Society" at the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS 2026) Prizes, organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), a UN agency, for its project "Smart Model for Labor Market Oversight - Suspicion Detection Engine." The award came after a global competition involving nearly 1,500 projects from over 100 countries. The project is one of the leading national solutions in employing artificial intelligence to support labor market oversight. Takamol developed and implemented it as an intelligent system for proactive detection of fraud and non-compliance, enhancing oversight efficiency, improving decision-making quality, and contributing to protecting the labor market. The "Suspicion Detection Engine" relies on AI and big data analytics, proactively monitoring indicators of suspicion, which accelerated oversight processes and enabled more efficient actions, reducing the decision-making cycle from 25 days to just three days. This recognition reflects the success of the partnership model between the government sector and the national technology sector, where Takamol's expertise contributed to designing and implementing an advanced digital solution that enabled the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development to enhance compliance in the labor market and leverage AI to develop a more efficient and effective oversight system. This achievement underscores the advanced position that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has reached in digital transformation and AI, and embodies its success in developing national solutions capable of global competition and achieving tangible operational impact, supporting the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 to build an innovation-driven digital economy and improve the efficiency of government services. The Kingdom's winning of this award is an extension of its international successes in the field of ICT, reflecting the rapid development of the digital infrastructure, the increased adoption of AI technologies, and the empowerment of national talent.
