Al-Ahli Saudi FC jumped to 14th place in the list of the world's biggest spenders during the summer transfer window for the upcoming season, according to the latest official statistics from Transfermarkt, a platform specializing in football figures and statistics.

The financial spending map for clubs in the new football season's transfer market showed a clear English dominance, alongside a resounding Arab surprise.

Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City topped the global list of the most spending and expensive clubs in the current transfer window.

The English Premier League maintained its financial dominance, with 7 clubs from the Premier League among the top 15 globally.

Tottenham Hotspur topped the list with €267 million on 8 deals, Manchester City with €175.2 million on 4 deals, and Brighton & Hove Albion with €126.4 million on 6 deals.

Chelsea followed with €119.4 million on 12 deals, and AC Milan with €105.35 million on 5 deals.

As for Al-Ahli Saudi, it ranked 14th on the list, first locally, Arab-wise and continentally, having spent €67.75 million on 3 main deals, which are players whose contracts were purchased with amounts allocated in transfer fees, and does not include free agents or those returning from loan.
