Jeddah, 24 Muharram 1448 AH, corresponding to July 9, 2026, SPA The Saudi Group achieved a new accomplishment reflecting the efficiency of its operational system and the integration of its operations, as Saudia topped the list of airlines globally in flight punctuality, while flyadeal topped the list of airlines in the Middle East and Africa, according to the report of Cirium platform specializing in monitoring and analyzing airline performance for June 2026. This achievement came in one of the busiest months of the year in operational activities, as June witnessed the peak of the phase of returning Hajj pilgrims to their countries after completing Hajj rituals, along with the start of the summer vacation season. Saudia recorded an on-time arrival rate of 92.38%, and an on-time departure rate of 93.02%, across 13,350 flights. flyadeal operated 5,150 flights during the same period, achieving an on-time arrival rate of 95.42% and an on-time departure rate of 96.63%. This outstanding performance reflects an integrated operational system based on the efficiency of Saudi Group employees, the integration of performance across its various sectors, and harmony with the system of aviation partners, which contributed to managing operational movement efficiently and maintaining flight punctuality despite the density of operations. Advanced digital systems enhanced by artificial intelligence technologies supported operational process efficiency by improving planning and forecasting accuracy and supporting real-time decision-making, which contributed to raising operational punctuality levels, enhancing operational flexibility, and achieving the highest levels of efficiency for scheduled and additional flights.
