Tabuk 07 Safar 1448 AH corresponding to July 21, 2026 SPA — Beekeepers in the Tabuk region have started the season for producing and sorting Acacia honey, which spreads in the plains and valleys of the region. The Tabuk region is considered one of the most important natural pastures for producing high-quality honey. The region is known for the density of Acacia trees, which produce one of the finest types of honey in the Kingdom. Total production of Acacia honey so far has exceeded 35 tons, with sorting operations continuing during the season. The Director General of the Branch of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture in the region, Eng. Amjad bin Abdullah Thullab, explained that the Tabuk region possesses distinctive natural features that have contributed to the development of the beekeeping and honey production sector, noting that the ministry is working to support beekeepers through the Sustainable Rural Agricultural Development Program (REEF), which contributes to raising production efficiency, improving product quality, and enhancing economic sustainability for this promising sector.
