Environment / Branch of Ministry of Environment in Tabuk Region Announces Start of Mobile Unit Tours for Honey Sorting and Packaging
Tabuk, 02 Safar 1448 AH corresponding to July 16, 2026 AD – The branch of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture in the Tabuk region announced today the start of mobile unit tours for sorting and packaging honey in attractions and natural pastures in the governorates and villages affiliated with the region; to provide honey analysis, sorting, and packaging services to beekeepers according to the latest practices, along with providing guidance and awareness through experts and specialists in the field of beekeeping. The Director General of the Ministry's branch in the Tabuk region, Engineer Amjad bin Abdullah Thallab, explained that the unit will conduct its tours in the outskirts of Tabuk city and in the governorates of Duba, Al Wajh, and Umluj, indicating that it provides services for preparing, sorting, and packaging honey according to Saudi standard specifications; thereby contributing to raising product quality and enhancing its competitiveness in markets. He emphasized that this initiative is part of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture's efforts to develop the beekeeping and honey production sector, raise the efficiency of services provided to beekeepers, and enhance the added value of their products, enabling them to optimally benefit from production seasons, and supporting sustainable agricultural development and achieving the agricultural sector's targets. // End // 19:17 PM
