Flynas activated the purchase of 5 wide-body A330neo aircraft, in addition to 20 A321neo aircraft, under its existing agreements with Airbus, raising the number of confirmed aircraft to 235 out of a total of 280 aircraft in the total purchase orders, aiming to boost growth and expansion plans for the coming years.

"Flynas", the Saudi carrier, stated that with the purchase of the aircraft, its total confirmed orders for A330neo aircraft will increase to 20, while its total confirmed orders for A320 family aircraft will reach 215 aircraft.

Flynas CEO Bandar Al-Mohanna confirmed that this step comes to ensure sustainable growth in the size of Flynas's fleet in the coming years, to keep pace with growth and expansion in Flynas's six operational centers across Saudi Arabia, in addition to enhancing operational and expansion capabilities in Flynas Syria, noting that increasing the volume of confirmed orders will enhance Flynas's ability to reach new markets.

He pointed out that the increase in confirmed aircraft orders to 235 orders within the total orders from Airbus amounting to 280 aircraft will enhance operational and expansion capabilities to support the growth and transformation witnessed by the Saudi economy and market in various fields, especially with major tourism projects and global events that the Kingdom will host such as Expo 2030 and the 2034 World Cup.

Flynas currently operates a fleet of 67 Airbus aircraft, including two A330-300s, four A320ceos, and 61 A320neos, while continuing to expand its operational network to meet the growing demand for travel inside and outside the Kingdom, supporting the objectives of the National Aviation Strategy and Vision 2030 in enhancing air connectivity and establishing the Kingdom's position as a global center for transport and logistics.
