flynas, the leading low-cost airline in the world and the first in the Middle East, announced the confirmation of the purchase of 5 wide-body A330neo aircraft in addition to 20 A321neo aircraft under its existing agreements with Airbus, raising the number of confirmed aircraft with Airbus to 235 out of a total of 280 aircraft in the overall purchase orders, aiming to enhance growth and expansion plans for the coming years. With the confirmation of the aircraft purchase, flynas' total confirmed orders for A330neo aircraft rises to 20, while its total confirmed orders for A320 family aircraft reaches 215. The agreement was signed for flynas by Bandar Al-Mohanna, CEO and Managing Director, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Abdullah bin Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Ambassador to the United Kingdom, and His Excellency the President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation, Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Duailej, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Ayed Al-Jeaid. It was signed for Airbus by Benoît de Saint-Exupéry, Executive Vice President of Sales for the Commercial Aircraft division.
