Yesterday, the activities of the Farmers' Market in Al-Uwaiqilah Governorate were launched at the Al-Khaleej neighborhood stadium, organized by the branch of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture in the Northern Borders Region, represented by the ministry's office in Al-Uwaiqilah, with the participation of government and private entities, and its activities will continue for four days.

Introducing the quality of agricultural products that the governorate is famous for.

The market aims to support farmers and productive families, enhance the marketing of local agricultural products, and create direct sales outlets that increase the economic value of national products, in addition to introducing the quality of agricultural products that the governorate is famous for.

The activities include displays of dates, vegetables, fresh fruits, honey, and rural and food products, in addition to awareness and guidance programs that highlight sustainable agricultural practices and the importance of supporting local production, which enhances the goals of agricultural development and food security.

The ministry branch called on residents and visitors to visit the market and benefit from its activities and exhibits in support of local farmers and producers, and to promote a culture of consuming national products.
