The interactive craft corners accompanying the Farmers' Market in Al-Uwayqilah Governorate saw an influx of visitors, led by the pottery painting and handmade candle making corners, as part of the market's activities organized by the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture branch in the Northern Borders Region, running for four days at Al-Khaleej neighborhood stadium.

The pottery painting corner allowed children and families to decorate and color pottery pieces, contributing to the development of creative skills and introducing one of the traditional crafts associated with local cultural heritage.

Visitors at the handmade candle making corner learned about the manufacturing stages, starting from preparing raw materials and melting wax, through pouring, shaping, and decorating, up to the final product, along with the skills needed to practice this craft and its role in supporting productive families and developing and marketing their products. The corners contributed to highlighting local talents, promoting the culture of manual work, and encouraging the acquisition of national products, in line with the market's goals of supporting farmers and productive families and developing small enterprises. The market includes corners for displaying dates, vegetables, fresh fruits, honey, and rural and food products, in addition to awareness and guidance programs on sustainable agricultural practices and the importance of supporting local production, contributing to enhancing agricultural development and food security.
