Yesterday, the activities of the Farmers' Market in Al Uwayqilah Governorate kicked off at Al Khaleej Neighborhood Stadium, organized by the branch of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture in the Northern Borders Region, represented by the Ministry's office in Al Uwayqilah, with the participation of government and private entities, and its activities will continue for four days.

Introducing the quality of agricultural products for which the governorate is famous.

The market aims to support farmers and productive families, enhance the marketing of local agricultural products, and create direct sales outlets that raise the economic value of national products, in addition to introducing the quality of agricultural products for which the governorate is famous.

The activities include corners for displaying dates, vegetables, fresh fruits, honey, and rural and food products, in addition to awareness and guidance programs that highlight sustainable agricultural practices and the importance of supporting local production, thus enhancing the goals of agricultural development and food security.

The ministry branch invited residents and visitors to visit the market and benefit from its activities and exhibits in support of local farmers and producers, and to promote a culture of consuming national products.
