Quality of Life Program: Exceeded 23 Targets Within Program Indicators by End of 2025

The Quality of Life Program report showed that several indicators achieved levels exceeding their targets by the end of 2025, including 23 indicators across the program's sectors.

According to the Quality of Life Program's annual report, all indicators across various sectors fully achieved their targets, except for the average daily commute time within the five major cities indicator and the number of direct employees in the tourism sector indicator, which partially achieved their targets, and the indicator for the number of Saudi cities among the top 100 most livable cities, which has not yet achieved its target.

It is noteworthy that the Quality of Life Program was launched in 2018 as one of the programs of Saudi Vision 2030. It has contributed to transforming the Kingdom into a destination for global sports and entertainment events, making it a regional and international tourist attraction by preparing and creating a diverse range of options across all sectors, enhancing individual and community participation in artistic, cultural, and sports activities, enjoying a healthy and active life, developing more livable urban areas, creating promising sectors that provide economic and investment opportunities, diversifying job opportunities, and improving life in all Saudi cities.

In the urban design sector, citizen satisfaction with municipal services rose to 85% by the end of 2025, against a target of 74%, and the per capita share of squares and public spaces reached 6.1 square meters, compared to a target of 4.92 square meters.

The coverage of populated areas with rainwater drainage networks in cities reached 51.62%, exceeding the target of 51.55%, in addition to activating Saudi architecture by 76%.

In the security sector, the level of trust in security services rose to 99.86%, against a target of 90.5%.

The number of hotel rooms and apartments rose from 255.3 thousand rooms in 2023 to about 597 thousand rooms by the end of the year, exceeding the target by 59%.

Cultural institutions recorded 94 institutions by the end of 2025, exceeding the target of 87 institutions by about 8%, while the number of visitors to national heritage and UNESCO sites reached 14.1 million visitors, compared to a target of 7.2 million visitors.
