Saudi Quality of Life Program drives economy, exceeds targets

The Saudi Quality of Life Program demonstrated clear outperformance against targets at the end of last year, in most of its announced indicators according to the program's annual report.

The program's contribution to local content exceeded the target of 37%, reaching 44% by the end of 2025.

The program contributed 20.6 billion riyals to non-oil revenues by the end of last year, more than double the target of 9.7 billion riyals.

The program contributed 78 billion riyals to GDP by 2025, exceeding the target of 77.1 billion riyals.

The program's contribution to non-government investment reached 21.8 billion riyals by the end of last year, surpassing the baseline by about 11 times.

On the other hand, the program created 387,000 jobs by the end of 2025, an increase of 6.4% over the previous year.

Quality of Life is a supportive element for attracting investments to the Saudi economy

These indicators reflect that quality of life has become a real factor in the Saudi economy, as it supported the economy's ability to attract investments and generate growth opportunities within the framework of Vision 2030.

The Quality of Life Program aims to improve the quality of life of individuals and families by creating the necessary environment to support and develop new options that enhance the participation of citizens, residents, and visitors in cultural, entertainment, sports, tourism and other appropriate activities that contribute to improving the quality of life of individuals and families, generating jobs, diversifying economic activity, and enhancing the ranking of Saudi cities among the best global cities.

The program includes 10 strategic objectives, 43 strategic indicators, 170 transformative initiatives, and 23 implementing entities.
