Under the patronage of the Minister of Municipalities and Housing, ‘IECE 2026’ Launches in Riyadh under the Slogan ‘We Lead the Future and Innovate Solutions’

Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Municipalities and Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, the city of Riyadh will host the fourth edition of the International Engineering Conference ‘IECE 2026’ from December 14 to 16, 2026, organized by the Saudi Council of Engineers, with the participation of leaders, experts, and specialists from inside and outside the Kingdom.
The conference comes amid the rapid development witnessed by the engineering sector in the Kingdom, the expansion of development projects, and the growing presence of modern technologies and artificial intelligence in engineering work; to bring together local and international expertise, discuss the sector's most prominent challenges, and present distinctive engineering solutions and experiences.
The Secretary-General of the Saudi Council of Engineers, Musaid bin Abdullah Al-Otaibi, confirmed that the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Municipalities and Housing for the conference reflects the interest in the engineering sector and its role in supporting development paths, noting that the fourth edition focuses on moving from discussing challenges to proposing solutions, and preparing a space that brings together expertise and competencies to exchange knowledge and develop engineering ideas and practices.
The Secretary-General of the Council said: ‘Through IECE 2026, we seek to move from presenting challenges to innovating solutions, and gathering expertise and competencies around sector issues, to enhance engineering’s contribution to the transformations taking place in the Kingdom.’
The conference is held under the slogan ‘We Lead the Future and Innovate Solutions’, and includes six main tracks, dialogue sessions, scientific papers, and workshops, in addition to a accompanying exhibition, an innovation and technical experiments area, and a platform for agreements and launches.
The fourth edition of the conference builds on a legacy that saw in its previous editions the participation of more than 50,000 participants, the presentation of 1,200 scientific papers, the participation of 70 government and private entities, and more than 25 workshops.
The Saudi Council of Engineers invited specialists and those interested in the engineering sector from inside and outside the Kingdom to follow the conference updates and participate in the work of its fourth edition.
