Saudi cinemas are welcoming 3 new films this weekend, among the group of films shown every weekend in theaters. The featured works range across action, adventure, and thriller.

Cinemas today welcome the film "The Odyssey," an epic fantasy adventure following Odysseus on a arduous and perilous journey to return home after the Trojan War. Along the way, he faces a series of legendary challenges, including the giant Polyphemus, sirens, and witches, in a continuous test of his courage and ability to survive and reach his family.

The film The Odyssey is written and directed by Christopher Nolan, based on Homer's famous epic, and stars Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway, Tom Holland, Robert Pattinson, Charlize Theron, Jon Bernthal, alongside Lupita Nyong'o and Zendaya.

Cinemas also welcome today the film Samson and Delilah. The film's plot blends action and suspense, revolving around Delilah, a young woman who uses her beauty and intelligence to steal from the rich, before she accidentally meets Samson, a repentant thief who is forced to return to the world of crime to save his sister. The duo collaborates to steal a precious diamond from a foreign businessman, but escalating events put them before difficult tests that reveal the truth of their motives and may change their fate entirely.

The film is directed by Raouf El-Sayed with a story by Mahmoud Hamdan, and Amjad El-Sharqawi contributed to the screenplay and dialogue. It stars Ahmed El-Awady, Mi Omar, Retal Abdelaziz, Ahmed Essam El-Sayed, Essam El-Saqqa, and Khaled El-Sawy.

Cinemas also screen today the film Lenin, which tells the story of Lenin who finds himself amidst acute family conflicts and escalating political tensions in the rural region of Rayalaseema, where a love story intertwines with violent confrontations in a journey full of dangers and challenges. The film Lenin addresses issues of revolution, leadership, and the struggle for influence, along with shedding light on the harsh reality of honor crimes.

The film is directed by Murali Kishore Abburu, who also co-wrote it with Yelena Yastura, and stars Akhil Akkineni, Bhagyashri Borse, Sunil, Jeethabh Srinivas, Brahmanandam, and Ramki.
