Taif, Safar 03, 1448 AH corresponding to July 17, 2026, SPA – Al Hada Cable Car attracts visitors to Taif Governorate during the summer season, as one of the tourism experiences that allows viewing the Sarawat heights, mountain slopes, valleys, and vegetation cover along its path. The cable car route extends for (4,200) meters one way, connecting Al Hada summit to Al Kar tourist village, and includes (52) cabins, each accommodating eight passengers, with an operational capacity of up to (1,000) passengers per hour per direction, while the trip takes about (17) minutes. The altitude and mountainous route of the cable car allow visitors to see the region's terrain from multiple angles and learn about the nature of Al Hada and its distinctive mountain peaks, valleys, and vegetation cover. During the summer vacation, the cable car is witnessing demand from families and vacationers, benefiting from its location near a number of tourism, entertainment, and service facilities in the area.
