Cultural / Creative Forum and Jazan Literary Society Host an Evening Showcasing Transformations of Poetic Experience

Jazan, Muharram 11, 1448 AH corresponding to June 26, 2026 AD, SPA: The Creative Forum Club, in partnership with the Jazan Literary Society, organized a poetry evening yesterday evening, attended by a number of poets and literature enthusiasts at the society's headquarters. Poet Hassan Al-Silahbi reviewed the features of his poetic experience and the interaction between place, memory, and man carried by his poems, addressing the key milestones of his creative career and his methods of constructing poetic imagery and text formulation. The evening featured an open dialogue that addressed the relationship between life experience and writing, the impact of the environment on text formation, and the transformations of the modern poem. It also presented the poet's visions on building the poem and renewing its tools in line with developments in the literary scene. The evening included selected poetry readings that reflected the diversity of the artistic experience and its multiple themes, amidst interaction from the attendees through interventions and questions.
