"The Glow of Poetry from the Lamp of a Poet" in Jazan

The Cultural Creators Forum Club, in cooperation with the Jazan Literary Association, organized yesterday a poetic evening titled "The Glow of Poetry from the Lamp of a Poet", attended by a number of poets and literary enthusiasts, at the association's theater in Jazan city.

During the evening, a number of poetic experiences and methods of constructing poetic imagery and text formulation were reviewed, along with their human, national, social, and cultural dimensions, in addition to discussing visions related to the development of the poem and the importance of creative experiences in enriching the literary scene. The evening also featured selected poetry readings that reflected the diversity of the artistic experience and its multiple themes, amid remarkable interaction from participants, followed by discussions on literary and poetic issues, which contributed to enriching the dialogue, enhancing cultural movement, and highlighting the status of poetry in the region.
