The Ministry of Health announced on Thursday that the claims in a circulating video announcing a project called 'Asia Medical City' are incorrect, affirming that the project has not obtained any approvals or licenses from the ministry, and does not have any legal status to announce the establishment or operation of a health facility.

The ministry denied the authenticity of claims that 50 Asian countries are participating in the project.

The ministry explained that the person appearing in the video is a former doctor and director of one of the Ministry of Health's hospitals, and the ministry has summoned him to complete the necessary legal procedures against him according to relevant regulations.

The ministry also denied the authenticity of claims that 50 Asian countries are participating in the project, and the false information in the video regarding health regulations and procedures for regulating alternative medicine services, which contradict approved laws and regulations. It stressed that announcing any project or providing a health service requires completing all necessary licenses and regulatory approvals, according to approved laws and procedures, to ensure its legality and credibility.

The Ministry of Health reiterated the importance of obtaining information from official sources and not being misled by claims or unofficial announcements, affirming its continued enforcement of laws and regulations as part of its supervisory responsibilities to protect the health and safety of the community.
