Health Ministry Denies Claims About Establishment of 'Asia Medical City' Project
The Ministry of Health confirmed the falsity of the claims in the circulating video that included the announcement of a project called 'Asia Medical City', noting that the project has not obtained any approvals or licenses from the Ministry, and does not have any legal status authorizing it to announce the establishment or operation of a health facility.
The Ministry clarified that the person appearing in the video is a doctor and former director of one of the Ministry of Health's hospitals, and the Ministry has summoned him to complete legal procedures against him in accordance with relevant regulations.
The Ministry denied the claims of 50 Asian countries participating in the project, and the misinformation in the video about health systems and procedures for regulating alternative medicine services, which contradict approved regulations and rules. It stressed that announcing any project or providing a health service requires completing all necessary licenses and regulatory approvals, according to approved systems and procedures, to ensure its legality and reliability.
The Ministry of Health reiterated the importance of obtaining information from official sources and not being misled by claims or unofficial announcements, affirming its continued enforcement of regulations and rules based on its supervisory responsibilities to protect the health and safety of the community.
