Ministry of Health: Claims about establishing the Asia Medical City project are incorrect
The Ministry of Health has denied the authenticity of claims in a viral video announcing the 'Asia Medical City' project, stating it has no approvals or licenses from the ministry.
The Ministry of Health confirmed the inaccuracy of the claims in the circulating video that included the announcement of a project named 'Asia Medical City', noting that the project has not obtained any approvals or licenses from the ministry, and does not have any legal status authorizing it to announce the establishment or operation of a health facility. The ministry explained that the person appearing in the video is a doctor and former director of one of the Ministry of Health hospitals, and the ministry has summoned him to complete legal procedures against him in accordance with relevant regulations. The ministry denied the validity of claims that 50 Asian countries are participating in the project, and the misinformation in the video regarding health regulations and procedures for regulating alternative medicine services, which contradicts approved rules and regulations. It stressed that announcing any project or providing a health service requires completing all necessary licenses and regulatory approvals, in accordance with approved rules and procedures, to ensure its legality and reliability. The Ministry of Health reiterated the importance of obtaining information from official sources, and not being swayed by claims or non-regulatory announcements, affirming its continued application of rules and regulations based on its supervisory responsibilities to protect the health and safety of the community.
