The Qassim Health Cluster emphasized the importance of using designated child car seats inside vehicles during every trip, due to the essential protection they provide for the child and their effective role in reducing the risk of injuries in traffic accidents.

The cluster explained that child seats contribute to maintaining the child's safety inside the vehicle, preventing impacts and consequences of accidents, in addition to providing necessary protection for the most vulnerable areas of the body: the head, shoulder, and spine.

The cluster pointed out that the benefits of child car seats are not limited to the child's safety alone, but extend to helping the driver maintain full concentration while driving, thereby enhancing the overall safety level for all passengers.

The Qassim Health Cluster called on parents and drivers to ensure the correct installation of child car seats and to use them on every trip, no matter how short the distance, stressing that they are among the most important preventive measures that reduce the likelihood of injuries and maintain children's safety while traveling.
