As part of an official exploratory visit, a delegation visited the global headquarters of Philips, a leader in health technology, to get a firsthand look at the latest medical care solutions powered by artificial intelligence.

The visit featured a comprehensive presentation of several advanced technologies that the company is developing to reshape the future of medical diagnostics and precision surgeries, most notably cardiac MR and CT solutions, which rely on integrated automation systems to speed up examination procedures, improve image quality and results, and reduce human intervention and effort.

Additionally, the DeviceGuide navigation system, a three-dimensional digital system that serves as an intelligent assistant for doctors in cardiac operating rooms, helping to increase the accuracy of medical procedures and enhance safety during complex surgeries, as well as the SmartSweep application, an innovative solution that enables midwives and nurses, especially in remote and underserved areas, to perform ultrasound examinations and assist in early detection of high-risk pregnancies.

It is also worth noting the presence of wearable technologies (RATE & ePatch), which provide advanced capabilities for continuous health monitoring and early warning, through predicting certain diseases and infections, as well as monitoring heart rhythm disorders and analyzing them accurately via cloud computing technologies.
