Four students from the Riyadh Education Department made a notable presence at the 2026 International Science Olympiads, after winning silver and bronze medals and a certificate of appreciation in the Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics Olympiads.

Student Ali Ahmed Bawazir won the silver medal in the International Chemistry Olympiad, while students Hamza Baaesa and Faisal Alabdullatif achieved the bronze medal and a certificate of appreciation in the International Biology Olympiad, and student Fares Alkanhal won the bronze medal in the International Mathematics Olympiad.

The Director General of Education in the Riyadh region, Dr. Naif Al-Zarei, congratulated the distinguished students, their families, and their school staff, praising the strong presence of Riyadh Education Department students in scientific competitions at the national, regional, and international levels.
