A decision has been issued appointing Dr. Wafi bin Hamad Al-Balawi as Cultural Attaché to the People's Republic of China, in addition to assigning him to oversee the Saudi cultural attachés in Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, India, and Pakistan, in a step aimed at enhancing the Kingdom's educational and cultural presence in Asia, supporting the affairs of scholarship students, and developing academic cooperation with educational and scientific research institutions in those countries.
