The General Directorate of Traffic announced the launch of an online auction for distinctive license plates via the Absher platform, starting today, Wednesday, 8 Safar 1448 AH, corresponding to July 22, 2026, and continuing until Thursday, 9 Safar 1448 AH, corresponding to July 23, 2026.

The Directorate explained that participation in the auction is done electronically by logging into the Absher platform, then selecting “Services” from the “My Services” tab, followed by “Traffic,” and then entering the “License Plate Auction” service to view the available plates and place bids.

The launch of the auction is part of the General Directorate of Traffic’s efforts to develop digital services and simplify procedures for obtaining traffic services, enhancing the user experience and providing flexible electronic solutions that align with the goals of digital transformation.
