To improve the urban landscape in Dhahran…
The Eastern Province Municipality, represented by the Dhahran City Municipality, continues its regulatory and field work to enhance compliance with the regulations and instructions governing advertisements. A recent field campaign carried out by the municipality resulted in the removal of 930 illegal advertising posters from several locations, as part of its ongoing efforts to address visual distortion and preserve the urban appearance.
The campaign included the removal of illegal posters and advertisements installed in non-designated locations, including lampposts, walls, public facilities, and several other sites, as they distort the general view and violate the regulations and rules governing advertisements.
Director General of the General Administration of Media and Official Spokesperson of the Eastern Province Municipality, Faisal Al-Zahrani, explained that these efforts are part of an ongoing field plan aimed at detecting and immediately addressing advertising violations, contributing to improving the urban landscape, enhancing the general appearance, and improving quality of life by removing illegal elements that affect the aesthetics of cities and neighborhoods.
Al-Zahrani stated that the field teams of Dhahran Municipality continue to carry out their regulatory tours to monitor various types of advertising violations and take legal action against violators, with a focus on locations that witness a high density of random posters, in order to reduce the recurrence of these practices and enhance compliance with regulations and instructions.
