Minister of Communications Meets with Scholarship Students in Korea

His Excellency Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Eng. Abdullah bin Amer Al-Sawaha, held a meeting with Saudi male and female scholarship students in the Republic of Korea, as part of his keenness to communicate with national talents and motivate them to contribute to building the future of the digital economy and advanced technologies.

During the meeting, His Excellency affirmed that investment in national talents is a fundamental pillar for enhancing the Kingdom's global competitiveness, stressing the importance of the role of scholarship students in transferring knowledge, localizing advanced technologies, and contributing to the development of national capabilities in the fields of artificial intelligence and future technologies, in line with the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.

The meeting witnessed an open dialogue with the students, during which they reviewed their academic aspirations and scientific paths, as well as discussing promising opportunities to benefit from international expertise and experiences, and enhancing their contributions to the system of technical innovation and technological entrepreneurship in the Kingdom.

This meeting comes as part of His Excellency's visit to the Republic of Korea, which aims to expand partnerships with major government entities and global technology companies, develop national capabilities, and enhance the Kingdom's position as a global center for the digital economy and artificial intelligence.
