The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing affirmed the continuation of its oversight campaigns on collective housing sites for individuals in the Kingdom, calling on the community to report violations through the 'Balady' platform or by calling 940 to ensure compliance with health requirements and public safety standards.

The Ministry explained that the reports received represent a supporting channel for the work of specialized teams in monitoring and effectively addressing violations. It noted that these channels increase the efficiency of follow-up and enable authorities to intervene quickly and take necessary regulatory actions.

Development and Regulation of Collective Housing

The Ministry stated that regulating these sites falls under the efforts of the 'National Program for the Development of Collective Housing for Individuals' in partnership with government agencies. The program aims to develop and regulate the sector, and improve the quality of housing designated for workers to provide a healthy and sustainable residential environment. It said these regulatory moves align with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 aimed at improving quality of life and enhancing urban sustainability. The Ministry emphasized the continuation of joint coordination to raise the level of compliance with regulations, alongside intensifying field inspection tours. It called on community members to utilize official channels when detecting any violation in collective housing sites. Stressing that community awareness and effective reporting contribute to accelerating the processing of observations and preserving the quality of the residential environment.
