The office of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture in the Holy Capital, represented by the Non-Profit Sector and Agricultural Solutions Department, organized a workshop titled 'Mechanism for Presenting and Closing Volunteer Opportunities,' as part of its ongoing efforts to develop the volunteer work system, enhance the efficiency of its staff in managing volunteer opportunities according to approved procedures and regulations, thereby contributing to improving the quality of volunteer initiatives and achieving the highest levels of compliance and organization.

The workshop covered the mechanism for creating volunteer opportunities, requirements for their approval, the monitoring mechanism, in addition to the steps for closing opportunities after their implementation and documentation are completed, ensuring improved efficiency in managing volunteer opportunities, achieving best practices in their execution, and enhancing the societal impact of initiatives carried out by the office. The Director of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture Office in the Holy Capital, Engineer Ghaleb bin Yahya Hamazi, affirmed that this workshop comes within the framework of the office’s keenness, represented by the Non-Profit Sector and Agricultural Solutions Department, to spread a culture of volunteer work and empower human resources to apply best practices in managing volunteer opportunities, thereby raising the quality of initiatives and enhancing their impact in serving the community, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 aimed at developing the non-profit sector and increasing the number of volunteers.

In a related context, the Land Management and Geospatial Information Department at the office organized a workshop titled 'Mechanism for Entering Sites Requested for Allocation in the Baladi Platform,' as part of the office’s efforts to develop the skills of its staff and enhance the efficiency of using digital platforms, thereby contributing to accelerating procedures and improving the quality of services provided to beneficiaries.

The workshop reviewed the mechanism for entering sites required for allocation via the 'Baladi' platform, the regulatory steps followed to complete applications, the mechanism for entering required data, in addition to discussing the most prominent observations and challenges that users may face and ways to address them to ensure data accuracy and speed of application processing. Engineer Ghaleb bin Yahya Hamazi explained that organizing this workshop is part of the office’s ongoing plan to develop the capabilities of human resources, support the digital transformation journey, and enhance the efficiency of using electronic systems and platforms, which reflects on raising performance quality, accelerating task completion, and achieving the goals of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture in developing services and improving their efficiency.
