Under the direction of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the Region, today received at his office at the Palace of Governance the Governor of Shaqra, Adel bin Abdullah Al-Buwardi, accompanied by the Director of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture office in the governorate, Mohammed bin Abdullah Abahussain.

His Highness the Deputy Governor reviewed the program and activities of the Sixth Shaqra Pepper Festival, which launches next Thursday. He watched a visual presentation highlighting the main themes of the festival in its sixth edition, held under the patronage and directives of His Highness the Governor of the Region, along with accompanying events, programs, and activities aimed at supporting local agricultural production and showcasing the economic and tourism potential of Shaqra Governorate.

The festival is held at the Municipal Hall for Celebrations and Conferences in Shaqra Governorate, lasting ten days, and includes various events, exhibitions, local products, and activities for families and visitors.

The Governor of Shaqra, Adel Al-Buwardi, expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Highness the Governor of Riyadh Region for his patronage of the festival, and to His Highness the Deputy Governor for his support and interest, stressing that this patronage reflects the leadership's interest in supporting development initiatives and enhancing local production, contributing to the development of governorates, investing in their comparative advantages, and consolidating the path of comprehensive and sustainable development.

The reception was attended by the Acting Assistant Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region for Development Affairs, Engineer Salman bin Mohsen Al-Dalaan, and the Advisor to His Highness the Deputy Governor, Omar bin Abdulaziz Al-Salem.
