General / Under the direction of the Governor of Riyadh, the Deputy Governor of the region receives the Governor of Shaqra and reviews the program and events of the sixth Shaqra Pepper Festival

Riyadh, Safar 07, 1448 AH (July 21, 2026) – SPA – His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region, received at his office in Al-Hukm Palace today the Governor of Shaqra, Adel bin Abdullah Al-Bowardi, accompanied by the Director of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture's office in the governorate, Mohammed bin Abdullah Abahsein. His Highness watched a visual presentation on the Shaqra Pepper Festival, held in its sixth edition under the patronage and directives of His Highness the Governor of Riyadh Region, along with its accompanying events. He was briefed on the objectives, programs, events, and activities accompanying the festival, which will launch the day after tomorrow, Thursday, at the Municipal Hall for Celebrations and Conferences in Shaqra Governorate and will continue for ten days. The Governor of Shaqra expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Highness the Governor of the region for his patronage of the festival, and to His Highness the Deputy Governor for his support and their keenness to enhance the governorate's status in the comprehensive and sustainable development march of the region, emphasizing that this support and care from Their Highnesses reflect the attention of the wise leadership – may God support them – in supporting everything that contributes to the development of the nation and its citizens, and enhancing local production that abounds in various regions of the Kingdom.
