His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Region, received at the Emirate Diwan the Commander of the Special Forces for Road Security in the Eastern Region, Brigadier General Abdullah Al-Obaid, accompanied by members of the Special Forces for Road Security in the region. He reviewed achievement reports and implemented projects, as well as future plans aimed at enhancing road user safety in the region's cities and governorates.

His Highness the Governor of the Eastern Region praised the security and humanitarian efforts of the Special Forces for Road Security in performing their duties, which contribute to enhancing security and reassurance on the roads. He emphasized the importance of continuing to develop the road security system, raising its readiness, and utilizing modern technologies to enhance traffic safety and protect road users. His Highness also noted that the Eastern Region achieved first place in road safety across the Kingdom.
