General Authority for Real Estate Begins Real Estate Registration for 22 Plots in Rumah, Riyadh
The General Authority for Real Estate announced the start of real estate registration for 22 real estate plots in Rumah Governorate, Riyadh Region, starting from Sunday, July 19, 2026 (5 Safar 1448 AH) until the end of Thursday, October 22, 2026 (11 Jumada al-Awwal 1448 AH).
The Authority explained that the neighborhoods benefiting from the real estate registry in this phase in Rumah Governorate include: Al Rabiya neighborhood, part of an open area under the Rawdah Municipality, and part of an open area under the Al Sharq Municipality, noting that the selection of neighborhoods was based on specific criteria, and the remaining areas, governorates, and neighborhoods that will undergo real estate registration in various regions of the Kingdom will be announced progressively in the coming periods.
The Authority stated that the initial registration of properties in these areas will be available through the electronic real estate registry platform (rer.sa) or through service centers, emphasizing that real estate registration requires a valid ownership deed meeting regulatory requirements to complete the registration process.
The Authority called on property owners in the areas and neighborhoods subject to registration to verify their ownership deed and ensure the necessary requirements are met in preparation for the start of registration, with the possibility of inquiring about registration steps through the Authority's official platforms or by calling the customer service center at 199002.
The Authority explained that as of the specified start date of registration, a 'property number' and a title deed will be issued for each registered real estate unit, including the property's data, description, status, and associated rights and obligations supported by accurate geospatial information, which contributes to enhancing the infrastructure and sustainability of the real estate sector and raises the level of reliability and transparency in this sector.
