Farnborough, Safar 07, 1448 AH, July 21, 2026, SPA -- His Excellency the President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation, Mr. Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Duailej, visited the Farnborough International Airshow 2026, accompanied by the Vice Presidents and Chief Executives of companies operating in the civil aviation sector in the Kingdom. His Excellency and the accompanying delegation toured the exhibition currently being held at Farnborough Airport in the United Kingdom, which is one of the largest global gatherings for the aviation and aerospace industry. The tour included visits to the pavilions and stands of major leading global companies and manufacturers in the sector, and a review of the latest modern technologies, innovations, and smart solutions in the fields of civil aviation. During the tour, His Excellency the President observed a range of advanced projects and programs related to the future of aviation, foremost among them Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) solutions, environmentally friendly and sustainability-supporting technologies, in addition to digital innovations, autonomous flight systems, and space. On the sidelines of the participation, His Excellency held a series of bilateral meetings with leaders and heads of major government and private companies participating in the exhibition to discuss prospects for joint cooperation, exchange of expertise, and exploration of opportunities for strategic partnerships in various fields of aviation and air transport.
