The Saudi Arabian Society for Culture and Arts in Jeddah launched the first evening of the Al-Mahra Cultural Salon, sponsored by Princess Doaa bint Mohammed, hosting Professor Hassan Mohammed Al-Naami in an evening titled 'A March of Culture and a Biography of Consciousness,' moderated by the society's director Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Subaih, in the presence of an elite group of intellectuals, writers, media professionals, and those interested in cultural affairs.

Professor Hassan Al-Naami is considered one of the most prominent academics, critics, and theater practitioners in the Kingdom, having combined academic work, literary criticism, creativity, and scientific research in his career. He has presented an intellectual achievement that enriched the Saudi and Arab cultural scene and contributed to establishing the presence of narrative, criticism, and theater in cultural life.

The meeting covered the early formative stages of Al-Naami's life, his journey with knowledge, his academic experience, his critical and creative project, his contributions to theater and narrative, as well as his vision of culture, consciousness, and transformations in the cultural scene, in a dialogue marked by depth and transparency.

The evening was distinguished by a different style of moderation, as the dialogue relied on images and visual materials that showcased stages of the guest's life and cultural achievements, turning each image into a window for dialogue, recalling memories, and interpreting the experience. This style added vitality and excitement to the event, making the evening last nearly three hours amid great interaction from the audience who followed its details until its conclusion.

The evening witnessed qualitative interventions that enriched the dialogue, with participation from novelist Abdo Khal, media figure Salama Al-Zaid, Dr. Adel Al-Zahrani, poet Saleh Jarebii, media figure Naif Al-Maliki, Saleh Bugari, director Emad Zaki, Dr. Huda Hadadi, and Naif Al-Ajlani.

The discussants agreed that Professor Al-Naami is a symbol of serenity, purity of spirit, and love, and that throughout his career he chose dialogue as a path and constructive criticism as a method, avoiding controversy and conflict, and drawing closer to ideas and humanity, which earned him the respect of cultural circles and the love of all who knew him.

The evening concluded with honoring Professor Hassan Mohammed Al-Naami in recognition of his cultural and intellectual career and his contributions to criticism, literature, and theater, and his giving that left a lasting impact on the Saudi cultural scene.

Al Subaih affirmed at the conclusion of the evening that the meeting with Professor Al-Naami did not end with its conclusion, noting that the Al-Mahra Cultural Salon evenings aim to host intellectual and cultural figures who enrich awareness, open new horizons for dialogue, and solidify the value of culture in society.
