King Abdulaziz University President Reviews King Faisal University's Strategy and Future Directions
King Faisal University President Dr. Adel bin Mohammed Abu Zenada received King Abdulaziz University President Dr. Tarif bin Yousef Al-A'ma, along with university vice presidents and leaders, in a visit to review the university's strategy and future directions, and discuss areas of common interest and future cooperation opportunities, on Thursday, 17 Muharram 1448 AH, corresponding to July 2, 2026.
King Faisal University President welcomed Dr. Tarif bin Yousef Al-A'ma, emphasizing the importance of enhancing cooperation and integration among Saudi universities, expanding partnership areas, and exchanging expertise to support both universities' progress and strengthen their roles in education, research, innovation, and community service. King Abdulaziz University President praised the warm reception and hospitality, commending King Faisal University's institutional identity and its strategic priorities in food security and environmental sustainability, and lauding the university's qualitative achievements and advanced levels of institutional performance and academic excellence.
The two sides discussed areas of common interest and ways to develop cooperation in academic, research, and institutional fields, as well as opportunities for expertise exchange and launching joint initiatives and projects to enhance integration between the two universities and leverage their scientific and research capabilities. The visit included a review of the university's key initiatives and a tour of several facilities, including the "Kafu Tbtaker" Museum, the Research and Training Station, the Hologram Studio, and the Media Studio, where the university showcased its major initiatives, academic and research capabilities, advanced infrastructure supporting innovation, and modern technologies employed to develop the education and scientific research system.
